In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to anticipate and head off problems by generating solutions for resolving them quickly, build and manage a product team, and evaluate feedback from support teams to identify product errors and gaps. You'll also work closely with senior Googlers in support of the product area.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $320,000-$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define the product outlook and strategy for Gmail. Design and lead a multi-year roadmap, balancing short and long-term goals and investments to scale globally.
- Own cross-functional ownership of product development process from ideation through development and commercial launch.
- Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with business leaders to understand their strategies, end-to-end business processes, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy, while providing transparency into roadmaps and managing expectations.
- Analyze competitors and industry trends to advance our products and drive innovation.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high performing team of Product Managers. Collaborate with multiple internal, executive, and external teams to ensure coordination and information sharing throughout product development.
