Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) hardware architecture and silicon design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience in architecting and designing low power multimedia hardware IP for SoCs in the following areas: Camera ISP, video codecs, display, graphics and machine learning networks.
- Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, SoC architecture, IP design and verification, camera, video, Machine Learning (ML) algorithm and software development teams.
- Experience in architecting ambient or always-on hardware and workflows for ultra low power SoC application.
- Experience in micro architecture, power and performance optimization.
- Experience with interconnect/fabric, security, multi-level caching architectures.

- Collaborate with Google research and silicon product management to help define the product roadmap for camera, video, display, graphics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on a System on a Chip (SoC) for a variety of Google devices.
- Define the hardware Internet Protocol (IP) architecture specifications that meet power, performance, area and image quality goals, which will require owning the goals through to tape-out and product launch.
- Collaborate with camera Internet Service Provider (ISP), video, display, Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and TPU hardware IP design teams across global sites to drive the hardware IP architecture specifications into design implementation for System on a Chips (SoCs).
- Collaborate with SoC and System/Experience architects on meeting power, performance and area requirements at the SoC level.
- Perform detailed data analysis and tradeoff evaluations to improve our multimedia architecture solutions.
