Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or product development, with 2 years of experience in a semiconductor or mobile devices company.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as research, silicon, software, system, operating systems, program management and product marketing teams.
- Familiarity with mobile computing constraints, OS and software frameworks/tools and software development life-cycles.
- Understanding of mobile/embedded device internals in both software and hardware, including memory management, CPU scheduling and system architecture.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, develop and articulate product goal and roadmap.
- Excellent communication and people management skills to advocate initiatives with key stakeholders and executive management.

We are the team that build Google Tensor Google’s custom system-on-chip (SoC) that powers Pixel devices. Tensor makes transformative user experiences possible with the help of cutting-edge ML running on our Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) ML accelerator complemented by CPU and GPU subsystems to deliver the foundational mobile experiences. Our goal is to productize the latest Google innovations and research by delivering custom SoC compute IPs and subsystems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Pixel and Android partners to describe Critical User Journeys and identify performance requirements, metrics and goals for the flagship Pixel phones.
- Analyze data from the field, lab, pre and post-launch surveys to identify and prioritize pain points.
- Drive cross-functional workstreams for new differentiated SoC features, and software optimizations to deliver product performance and efficiency goals.
- Define differentiated and compelling silicon solutions and roadmap that leverage Google’s hardware, software and research.
- Co-work with marketing, engineering, legal and multiple cross-functional teams for product and feature launches enabled with Google Tensor.
